I am originally from Bristol, did a degree at Liverpool University and my PGCE in Birmingham. I have lived in Harborne for 20 years and have two children at St Peter's.
before having our family I ran an Art dept in a large comprehensive school, but currently work as a part-time teacher in a small school in Tysley. I attend St Johns church, where I am involved in the youth work, and lead a small group for year 7 students with my husband. I also play Hockey for Harborne Hockey Club, where I have been a member for 17 years.
I think St Peters is a fantastic community, and I am looking forward to serving as a governor. I am around the Infant and Junior site most days at some point, and hope that parents will feel that they can raise matters with me that they feel need to be passed on to the governing body.
