  • School Development Plan

Our School Development Plan (SDP) sets out how the school intends to improve the quality of education, pupils’ progress, teaching and learning, and overall school performance. It identifies what the school wants to improve, why it needs to improve, what actions will be taken, who is responsible, and how success will be measured.

To develop our plan, we come together in June/July to analyse the previous year’s performance.  We dive into all areas of the curriculum, look at the success of our pastoral initiatives and safeguarding processes and discuss where, across all aspects of school life, we could have done something differently for a better outcome.   From this analysis, we plan new initiatives and processes and decide on our priorities for the coming year.  It is the template for everything we do in school and gives us all clear objectives to work towards, in line with our values, in order to ensure excellent outcomes for our children.
