Hi I'm Mike and I am one of the Foundation Governors appointed by the Diocese. I live in Harborne with my wife, Lucy (who also went to St Peter's!!), and daughters Daisy who is in Year 3 and Poppy who is in Reception. I have lived in Harborne for 25 years and attend St Peter's Church most weekends where I am also a member of the Parochial Church Council (PCC).
I graduated from University in Manchester with a degree in Economics and Maths. I have spent the last 30 years working in financial services, specialising in Credit Risk, whilst also having had responsibility for Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention, Facilities and Operational Risk.
When we are not taking our daughters to birthday parties at the weekend, we love to go out for walks and bike rides or visiting a farm park.
I was keen to become a governor because I am passionate in believing that every child has a right to a good and happy education.
