A final thought for the week......one of the most challenging aspects of being a Headteacher is making decisions that can have a significant impact on so many children, families and staff. I fully appreciate the disruption that some decisions may or can cause and I never take them lightly to the point of sleepless nights and worry. However, at the forefront of every decision I make alongside my leadership team and chair of governors is the safety, health and wellbeing of the children and staff in our school. Whilst not every decision will be popular, I hope parents are reassured that they are always made with great care, thoughtful consideration and with the best interests of our school community at heart.
Please do have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday morning,
kind regards,
Alison Leonard

Some of you may have noticed (or the children may have informed you!) that we have fenced off some of the bushes and spaces between trees. This has been done to protect the children and avoid blind spots where staff can't see them.
We have recently noticed that a number of families have been staying on the playground and children have been using the equipment after school. To help us keep everyone safe, avoid any potential accidents and ensure no children are left unsupervised, we kindly ask for your support with this and ask all parents and carers to please leave the school premises promptly at the end of the school day once the children have been collected. We also need to close the school gates shortly after collection time, and we often still have children on site, which makes this difficult. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all.
Have a wonderful weekend,
kind regards,
Alison Leonard
